‘Second Love’ wins Opera of the Year

Second Love, the double bill featuring Gerald Barry’s The Stronger and the world premiere of Hagar by Dutch composer Jan-Peter de Graaff, has been awarded Opera of the Year 2025 by Place de l’Opéra. Conductor Lochlan Brown led the production as part of the opening of the Nederlandse Reisopera’s 70th anniversary season.
